Matthew 4: 1 - 25
The Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.....
Lessons 1:
Jesus didn't accept the challenges the devil threw to him even though he was at his weakest point( Super hungry and starving after 40 days fasting). Because Jesus and Satan were not on the same level. Meaning; after Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights, his physical body and spirit was strengthen and authority was given him. So the level of power on Jesus is greater than that of the devil to belittle himself and come lower to the level of the devil's stupidities.
Christian Lessons:
1. As a child of God, you don't have to stoop so low to Satan's level to accept his challenges which are; trials, sickness, job loss, poverty, weakness, pride, division, drunkenness, etc should never be allowed.
2. The devil look for your weakest point which can be; anger, gossip, rage, fornication, lover of self, adultery, covetousness, not prayerful, not a bible reader, etc then throws the challenge along that line. Just like how Jesus was super hungry and physically weak after his fasting, based on that the devil threw his first challenge to "turn stones into bread" to eat it. So the devil can cause other people in the same faith with you to gossip about you, make you upset with nasty comments, tempt you to drink alcohol, so that you can become spiritually weak. Therefore as a Christian you must be alert and b e watchful to know the devil's schemes.
Lesson 2:
Jesus knows the word of God and so does the devil.
Jesus resisted the devil's first challenge by quoting God's word to make the devil look stupid. Matthew 4: 4; Jesus answered, "It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Christian Lesson:
Any child of God who doesn't know the word of God deeply can easily be destroyed by the devil. Like I always say; "Even the devil knows God's word". And he the devil is able to use God's word against you. Many Christians of today don't have time to read their bibles and depends on the "Sunday" service bible quotations from church weekly, which is recipe for disaster as a child of God. You can never overcome the devil's challenges if you don't have God's word in you. There's no relationship between God and you if you don't know His word.
Lesson 3:
The kingdom of the world and its splendor or fashion belongs to the Devil.
Matthew 4: 8; Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. "All this I will give you", he said, "If you will bow down and worship me".
The devil boldly and proudly claim ownership of this world and wanted Jesus to bow down to worship him(devil) to be given control. But Jesus rebuked him to get away from Him(Jesus) because it is written to "worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only".
Christian Lesson:
Christians of today have bowed to the devil and is in competition in the fashion and pleasurable things of this world. Now we can't even tell the difference between the worldly people and those who claim to be "Christ-followers". Bible says; "Love not the world nor anything in the world and if anyone loves the world then the love of God is not in him."
Everything the devil is producing in the fashion world is what the "Christians" love to adorn their bodies with thereby given way to these demons who controls these fashion and entertainment world to possess and control them. Christians go to church and sing praise to God with their lips and when church is over, they go home to sing and dance to the songs in the secular world which doesn't edify the soul. So as you bow down to the devil, with all his excessive jewelries, make-ups, painting of nails with artificial nails like Jezebel, why won't you get diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol? Because bible says every good and perfect gift comes from above and so sickness is not part of the good thing. John said in the book of 1 John chapter 1 that I pray that you'll be in good health even as your soul prospers. To Be Continued....

I want to give you the opportunity to give your life to Jesus and
surrender your will to Him to be your Lord and personal savior so that He can
give you relief from every bondage the devil has put you in. His word says in
Matthew 11: 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and
I will give you rest.

please forgive me for all the evil things I have done. I am sorry. Jesus, I
want to be a child of God and follow you, please teach me to do what is right.

me with your Holy Spirit. Jesus, please protect me from the evil one and save
me, so that I may go to heaven with you. I also pray that you would save my
friends and family. I love you Jesus, I want to know you, and be close to you.
